Suppliers of Neoprene Sheets

Help! I am in need of a manufacturer of neoprene. I have found many companies on the web who make neoprene in rolls, however our process requires sheet stock in specific sizes. We also have a special formula that enhances the neoprene. So, I need a company that can actually mix the compound and process into sheet stock.

Even if no one specifically markets cut-to-size sheet stock, you might still approach such a company and see what they can do. Of course, roll stock can be turned into flat pieces with a knife, but if you need large numbers....

Tornado...thank you for replying. We have tried approaching companies about manufacturing in sheet stock, however, we have yet to find one that will work with us since we don't use enough inventory for them to justify!

Slitters (or flying cutters) aren't necessarily very expensive, and your volume may make it economically feasible to purchase and cut your own flat stock.

Thank you...Thank you....we were never quite sure what type company we needed! I can tell you that I have never researched a custom compound company, so maybe we can find someone to help us!

Thank you for replying, hoswever, we have tried to source our cushion in India and other places, however, with the amount of cushion needed and shipping costs, we have never been able to afford having it manufactured out of the states. But...thank you for replying!

Shipping cost may be high, but basic cost will be much less than manufacturers from states.

Besides, low volume problem will not be there while purchasing from India

I suggest Kirk Hill Rubber Company in Brea, CA. They are owned by a conglomerate, the web site is www.esterline.com They are custom rubber processors.

For similar problems, we contact Greene Rubber Company in Woburn, MA. They have sources that can usually supply exactly what we need.

Yes, neoprene rubber sheets are well known for its chemical resistance. It is also known for its chemical inertness. It is used for wide range of applications. Products manufactured out of Neoprene rubber has very low oxidation rate too.
