ENERGY SURVEY AND MAPPING OF LOADS

12/13/2009 4:15 PM

Hi,

I need to conduct an Energy Survey soon, I need your opinion for preparing my mapping mission. Here are some facts I know and think I know.. :
(I have looked into the Ireland SE site and found titles mainly)

1. I need to map the system under investigation. (It should be a straight forward task)
2. I need to prepare verbal\written questioner (in my opinion! It helps to pinpoint)
3. I think I need to use energy converter/calculator for the Diesel generators
used on site in order to be able to work with similar units. (I got it from ISE)
4. This survey is needed for Mix residential\Commercial buildings, factories,
Hospitals, Office and perhaps others as well.
5. What type of equipment I will need to use as an accessories for this task.
6. What type of a computer program (SW) available on the market for such survey if
at all?
7. I would be glad to have a copy of an actual survey questioners such as mapping
guide/structured work-forms, any material will become an asset though.

I will be glad if some one will start a discussion on this topic.

Enjoy everyone the weekend

Avigdor (Liron) Jakubisnky

Dear Mr.Moose,

I want to express my view - for some of the Engineers all days are equal -

work, work, work. No week-end, No holiday. At least I am happy to see an Engineer like you, having week end and enjoing.

thanks,

dhayanandhan.s

You make a good point, dhayanandhan. For some workers (CR4 moderators included), there are no "days off". I hope that you and I will both be able to enjoy some time away from work soon.

My point to Lidron is a simpe request for patience on his or her part. Also, when a user posts the same question twice, there is a good chance that there will be two separate discussions - neither of which informs the other.

Best,

Moose
