What am I doing wrong?

12/14/2009 10:44 PM

How do I get something onto the main CR4 page (where the homework questions are posted).

I type, preview and send but my carefully honed prose doesn't make it to the main page. Am i doing something wrong or do you just hate me?

Do a better job of camouflaging homework questions, which tend to get zapped according to site policy. If not zapped soon, they tend to attract merciless satire.

If you are intentionally gumming up our works with homework questions after being told time after time that this site is not to be used for that then yea some of us likely do hate you. (just kidding)

Getting onto the main page just seems to be a matter of timing but you need to do your own homework. We will help you by pointing you in the right direction but we will not do your homework. And if you do it too many times we will ridicule you to no end.

In the future try to do your homework before you give up and post it here, and tell us what you have attempted to that point so that we can give you hints as to where you are going wrong.

This site moderator doesn't hate you, ffej. But CR4 isn't a homework help site either.

When you post such questions, moderators typically remove them from the main page.

We don't delete them from CR4 altogether, but we don't favor them with prime real estate either.

P.S. Your Wombatt Rebuttal thread is doing well, however, and is even featured in today's CR4 Daily Digest.

You are still able to post when signed on...correct?

You are not forced to comment and enter only as anonamous 'guest'...right?

You are allowed to rate comments as you feel appropriate.....is this not the case?

If you experienced any of the aforementioned problems, you would probably receive promt attention and correction thereof....wouldn't you assume?

You can be certain you are not severely out of favor then...or at least relatively so...I have been unable to post, comment, and rate for 9 months now. Aside from a promise that i would either know the reason for my punishment or have the sentence lifted; neither has happened. The only other engagement has been a curt instruction to avoid creating a new identity in an attempt to escape my unexplained unjust sentence.

Benbenben....

I continue to post and receive many GA's... but it is hard to keep track when i am an outcast.
