Blowers, Power and Volumetric Flow

Am having two blowers connected to one suction line.one standing nearest to the line is taking less power to generate the same volumetric flow as the other.please give more insight.

The other one has to suck harder, as there is more pressure drop between the suction branch line and the blower inlet. More suck x same flowrate = more power.
