Generally, you do not calculate the ampacity of a cable, you look it up in the standard that is applicable to the jurisdiction that you live under. For example, if you live in Australia or New Zealand you look up the relevant AS/NZS standard, in the US it would be the NEC, and so on.
Further, the ampacity depends on the type of insulation and its temperature rating, whether the conductor is in conduit, buried, or in air, and how many other wires are adjacent to it.
