Need more information to suggest suitable solution to your question. I assume that the heater is used for dehumidification purpose. Set the humidistat with timer and operate the heaters. You can also consider using the haters in various banks. As per the requirements of the control system the heater will come into operation.

Since u are keeping the other two heaters on standby,in order not to keep them for too long as well as to watch their performance, and any unforseen problem that might occur as a result of too long idle period,u may need to operate each one every 24hours(schedule).

It is better to have them working than keeping them idle for too long, bcos some equipments when kept idle for too long may develop problem when u later want to use them, either due to some environmental reactions or attacks on some parts.

YOU HAVE THREE MAIN CAUSES OF DETERIORATION, CORROSION, EXPANSION AND CONTRACTION DUE TO TEMERATURE CHANGE AND IF THEY ARE ON CONTACTORS, BURNED CONTACTS. IF YOU PUT THEM ON SCR'S ( ELECTRONIC RELAYS) YOU CAN MAINTAIN CONSISTENT TEMPERATURE, REDUCE EXPANSION AND CONTRACTION AND ELIMINATE CONTACTOR FAILURE.YOU WILL ALSO REDUCE DUST ACCUMULATIONS WHICH ALSO CREATES DETERIORATION. CORROSION WILL STILL BE UNAVOIDABLE BUT RESTRINGING ELEMENTS IS EASY AND INEXPENSIVE. THIS GIVES YOU THE MOST ECONOMY IN TERMS OF MAINTENANCE AND POWER CONSUMPTION WHILE MAINTAINING VERY CLOSE TEMPERATURE CONTROL.

PLEASE FORGIVE THE CAPS, I CAN'T TYPE.
