01/27/2010 11:32 PM

i want to select Threaded Flange for 1" SS tube at 10bar HP air Pressure. if i want to design a Threaded Flange (with a threaded stubend which ll be coupled with a threaded tube), then what should i do?

how can i design any flange? (generally we select flange on Pressure-Temp rating). what calculation i need to do

Thanks

Tube is not usually threaded (though it could be if wall thickness is enough); pipe is often threaded. Your username baffles me.

Recognise that flanges aren't usually designed from scratch; they are looked-up in tables, then.
