IS Codes for Electrical Panel Boards

What are the IS standards used for Manufacturing Electrical Distribution Panel Boards? Who makes this IS Standards and in which book do you find them???

Not sure what you mean by IS Codes, but electrical panels must meet local electrical utility codes. These may be Municipal, State/Province, National or International Codes. Check with the local hydro inspection office. The Codes themselves are normally based on standards developed nationally.

To purchase standards or codes, your best bet would be to ask the local hydro inspectors what they use and go from there.

It is IS8623

now changed to IEC code.
