And You Thought Legacy Drawings Were Bad

02/23/2010 8:03 PM

The other day, I got lost (well, actually the room I wanted was lost) at CMU and this really neat guy stopped and spent the next 10 minutes showing me a very complicated short-cut and telling me all about the robotics program. So, I looked him up tonight and found a link to an interesting article.

Interesting Link,

Now it seems the Rocket Scientists that built those devices that propelled the space station up yonder are being quickly and systematically put out to pasture. I guess the current government doesn't think too much of keeping highly qualified engineers employed. Maybe the government found out where the measurements came from. Maybe their ancestors?

Be careful:-

A man stopped for a drink in a local country pub, where the news was on the television. When he commented that a particular politician had a face like a horse's arse one of the locals thumped him. When he came to he apologised, saying that he didn't realise it was ******* country: the locals corrected him:-

"It's not! It's horse country"

******* insert politician of choice.
