Solution Concentration

3.00mL of a 0.984 M CuSO4 solution is diluted to 50.00mL in a volumetric flask. Is the concentration of the new solution
a. 2.95 M
b. 0.177 M
c. 0.0590 M
d. 0.0197 M

please help, i am fairly new to chemistry, I dont know how to work this out yet?

Well, the number of moles of CuSO4 stay the same, and the amount of water has gone up by a ratio. So the concentration goes down by the same ratio.

This isn't even a very well constructed multiple-choice question; there are no plausible distractors among the answers. Even I, who know damn near next to nothing about chemistry (well, it ain't quite that bleak) can figure this out. Reducing some sort of concentration by a factor of 3/50 is not exactly magic...except in US science education these days.
