It might be better to be "eager" rather than "desparate" [sic], and to mention "Autodesk" rather than "Autodeck."

If you haven't already done so, consider assembling a portfolio of the projects you have done on these software platforms, somewhat like a personal show-and-tell. From this overall portfolio, select a few of the best examples that would apply to the type of business where you are applying or interviewing.

Declare your title.

Declare your rate.

List in commercial space.

Melbourne is relatively a large city of a nation and continent I've not visited.

Maybe it will work for you.

Are you hanging out with others of your kind and interests?

In person helps.

If married to a town, or place, what works for most in your economic realm?

If I wasn't married, I'd be on the road now, as I have no job, but my wife does.

You're well educated according to the list of things I can't do.

Hang a shingle is my suggestion.

I hate to be the wet blanket of the bunch, MARKB, but...

This is the fourth time in as many months you have asked us for job leads. In previous threads, it appeared you received (and did not acknowledge) some pretty good advice from many, many respected members. The job offer you seek never materialized, so you try again, disregarding previous advice to proofread, and use caution with sentence structure... things like that. There may be a language barrier I am unaware of; if so, please do not think me insensitive.

I typed into Google "cadet drafting opportunity melbourne" and was AMAZED at the number of firms in Au that are actively recruiting someone just like you. Have you truly exhausted all of them?

I do join the others and wish for you smooth sailing over untroubled waters. Best of luck!
