How to select a pump and how to calculate the head losses of pipe.

You cannot if you have not read and done all your calculation.First go and read and leave the selection to the pump supplier.

For head loss in pipe, consider the Hazen-Williams, Darcy-Weisbach, or Colebrook equations. (You can search these on line.) To select a pump, you need to know how much fluid is required at what pressure, and then you need to examine how much additional pressure is required to transmit the fluid through the pipe system.

And then match with the pumps operating curve.

Also you should know the demand characteristics, fluid type etc to select the type of pump ...
