Just installed new battery on 2002 Cavelier, now the car starts but won't continue running, I suspect the anti theft device, how do I reset.

Newer cars with a computer must first calibrate itself. My Camry takes 21km to do that.

GM's Passlock anti-theft system is so good that even the owner can't drive the car.

There's tons of bitches on the web about this system.

Good luck.

The funny thing is that GM actually thought someone would WANT to steal a Cavalier.
