Animal testing - the marshmallow kind

03/25/2005 9:23 AM

The good folks at Just Born foods have subjected their Marshmallow Peeps to a number of scientific tests including heat, cold, pressure, etc. Their results can be found here. A humorous site with lots of pictures of their "monsterous" tests.

Just so you don't think that only Peeps are the only desert test subjects.

Peeps testing

03/30/2005 8:51 AM

This is one of the most informative and in-depth analysis of Peeps I have seen. However, after reading the extent of the testing conducted, I became acutely concerned about the welfare of the test subjects. Should this sort of testing continue without govermental controls and supervision by the FDA?
