Furnace Efficiency

hi! wanted to know how can furnace efficiency be measured and what are the various parameters that affect it

You will need to add more details for two reasons:

1) Not enough information given.

2) Our homework meters are not on zero.

Also, capital letters at the beginning of a sentence and periods at the end are always appreciated. Most of us at CR4 work in the "real world".

Carry out an energy balance calculation around the furnace, and all will become clear.

It depends on what kind of furnace you are talking about, and there are lots of them.

It also depends on the fuel you are using and again, there a lots of them.

Some basic things are:

-amount of excess air

-wall losses

-flue gas temperature

These are but a few of the many factors that influence a heat balance on a furnace.
