Single-use flowmeter?? All of the devices I know of will survive for more than just one flow measurement, and can be used continuously/repeatedly.

I was thinking about disposable units due to sanitary reasons; for instance medical applications.

Never worked with dispoable flow meters, worked with disposable bioreators so.... What type of flow meter, would that be a rotometer type or venturi type flow meter?

just did a quick google

Could you please give the requested answers? It could be much more easy to give you an answer, solutions are available.

Do you think about throw away flow meters?

Questions:

- why throw away?

- fluid, temperature, pressure

- uncertainty

- cost level expected

- quantity

If you answer those questions it could be possible (but not sure) to give you an answer. If you do not then no answer for sure.

I have experience with single use peak flow meters used to measure human respiratory capacity.
