It's kinda cruel to keep trotting out all these retired, or emeritus, guys and to use them to support an anti-science message. Cripes, I'm getting up there too, and like Kukla, I sometimes can't find the "next" button for the slides.

Good to see all these discussions.

That's how science works, everyone argues their opinion and modifies their ideas, eventually a consensus forms in the majority of the people (who actually understand what's being discussed).

This has already happened with "global warming" with the majority of climate scientists thinking it's real and that humans are a major cause.

All the skeptics need to do is create a compelling arguement to prove them wrong.

I suppose as long as there is global cooling that isn't governed by the level of CO2 present these tired old specialists will remain skeptical and troubled by the consensus that formed before the discussion allowing their views to be aired occurred.

When one group peer reviews their own works without regard of other discerning interaction science does not occur.
