Abdel Halim Galala:

I wish we had CR4 and I knew you 15 years ago, when I brought a company to be ASME certified to carry the "U", "R" and "PP".

You are a wealth of information for ASME and truly an asset to CR4 and its members and guests.

with respect,

p911

My dear friends phoenix911 and gsuhas,

Thank you very much for your compliment.

Note. Next week, at June 16 & 17, 2010, we have a review/audit by ASME team leader for renewal of certificates of authorization U & R and holding new PP & S.

Any one can design and fabricate as per ASME sec 8 or other sections. However if you want ASME to permit you to use the U stamp or R stamp you have to pay fees get an audit and survey and approval of your facilities , design & QA manuals and procedures by ASME or an ASME Approved Inspection Audit Body. To be renewed again after certain number of years

Something on the lines of what you do for ISO etc
