Solar Farm For Sale?

Aint heard of a solar farm being built and sold, but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened. I've seen pictures of Solar Powered "generators" used to power sets in Hollywood. If I was going to risk money, I'd turn towards portable systems first with an eye towards the direct competition.

Havent heard of the solar farm being sold. But have heard of the electricity produced being sold to the power company.

Thx guys, maybe I'll put an add in... and see what the responce is like.

There is nothing wrong in trying to do something which none others have not done. Just put advt. and see the response if it is positive then go ahead with project.

I have not, but I might be able to assist with converters and electronics. It is a good idea you have.

GA from me, because I wonder if our law/financial system can deal effectively with the selling of the land AND the solar equipment on it. OTOneH, it's like selling a coal power plant, but OTOtherH, solar equipment is usually pretty portable.

yes to your question and because of short shgted banks and scared investors.

These solar mounts are about as hard a putting up a straight fence, they want a resume with years of experience.

If it's just land to use that you need, talk to the Bureau of Land Management, if you haven't. They administer millions of acres of land that largely sits unused. You might find that hundreds of others have beat you to it, or maybe not.

The problem isn't the energy, it's getting it to the right place. All this bare ground being blasted by the sun, and not a wire in sight...

Have the land (paid for) with power next to it.

I need to be able to sell the project when Im done, Im a developer and can't hold on to it. The projected ROI is 10%.

If any one thinks of setting up and selling power projects in future, first he has to identify the prospective buyers, look what buyers are looking for and then set up project.

Simple rule of business is, selling becomes easy / assured, if you put efforts in marketing.
