06/18/2010 1:20 AM

Dear Colleagues, Is there someone of you that have met in his practice standard for equal leg angle profiles (hot tolled or/and cold formed) with angle between the legs 60 degrees? Some call this profiles Vee-s. Is there a machines for producing or even producer? Thank you previously. Kind regards to all of you.

In aluminum, such a shape could be extruded easily, with your choice of rounded or sharp corner. In any metal that isn't too hard, a rounded-corner version can be formed by bending flat bar in a press brake. Thin sheet-metal vees can also be roll-formed from skelp. Although all of these methods are practical, I don't know of any commercial producers.
