A good rule of thumb is to know something, anything about a project before taking it on.

You have violated that rule and now expect us to infuse you with the knowledge to complete a project you should never have taken on in the first place.

Too much like homework for me. Go fish.

This is all over my head. I can't answer a shingle one of those questions. Gives me the shakes being so ignorant, but it's my own asphalt. Probably I spent too much time in the gutter, rotting my membrane. I'm tarred of living like this, always being down-n-spout. I went down to the valley a few eaves ago in a fu-tile attempt to stay hip. Met some drunk river rafters who tried decking me, but then soffit to pitch me straight tin the watershed! When I finally managed to camber out onto the bank, I had lost my wallet. Then when I tried to sell my truss for some cash to get home, a policeman came up over the ridge and arrested me for flashing!

Thanks for your kind responses.

I didn't mean to vent and blow my cap. It's just that I felt shot out of the saddle when Jack said I lost my rake-ish good looks. Years ago, I looked like Clark Gable - and I'm on the dead level there. But now I joist cant strip for cash, so I guess I've run my end lap. I can't even creep home since it's like a horror movie terra-cottage round there now.

Still, I took a coupla asprin to soothe my ponding dome. There's snow load we can't handle! Fools rosin where angles fear to tread and all that! Time to buckle down, put on the cleats and kick depression to the curb until my knee caps ache. I think I've nailed it! Got the world by the throat! No more reglets for me!

"Kindly share you kindly for my project."

I'll share some information if you agree to the following terms:

1. My rate is $US 375 per every half hour started

2. Looks like I can help you, just trust me.

3. Estimated time required: 40 hours (next week, starting Monday 28 June)

4. Result: PDF document (ca. 1700 pages)

5. Deposit of 50% upfront = $US 15.000

6. Please contact me for details or go to my website

www.kynodofor0@leakroof.com.au

The roofing industry is a huge market and investing time and money needs diligent research. It always pays to go for high quality and not rely on statistics but on my expertise instead.

Thank you for your custom.

Next, Ky.

One year working and observing on a roofing crew will teach you most of everything you need to know. The rest is on the internet.

Somehow, "Guest" should be threaded to indicate (OP) from others.

OP has signed a NDA. He is not permitted to communicate with third parties.

I hope he can see the funny side of it. Better here than learning about practical roofer jokes on site. Its not going to be easy. Its like asking a Chef about the ins and outs of a kitchen and not being able to cook.

At least he started and that is good, Ky.

  • Flat Roofs: Flat roofs have a slope from 1 degree to 5 degrees. These roofs are constructed in the same way as floor is.
  • Pitched Roofs: Pitched roofs have a slope of more than 10 degrees to the horizontal Surface. The most common shape of roof is symmetrical pitched roof. The slope of roof varies according to the span, climatic conditions, types of roof covering etc.
  • Shell Roofs: Shell roofs are made to meet functional and architectural requirements. The roofs are provided in public buildings like libraries, theatres, recreation centers, factories or workshops etc. roofing contractors
