Vacuum Sensor Failure

06/20/2010 10:28 PM

I am facing the frequent failure of vacuum sensor of leybold make. What are the precautions to be taken to enhance the life of the vacuum sensor? The machine is being used for Brake fluid filling purpose.

Get on to the Leybold representative locally, and get Leybold to sort it out.

Make sure the vacuum sensor is shielded, not exposed to any fluid intrusion.

I would reexamine if the sensor materials can resist corrosion from the fluid. Maybe a different choice of material would help.

Also look at the electrical interface to match power supply with sensor requirements.
