What is the maximum rating of a diesel generator?

Dear Guest,

Your question is a bit wayward as ratings depend on the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) like ABB, CAT, Siemens etc etc. Various OEMs have different ratings and different types of diesel generators. Kindly be specific in asking questions as to what purpose you are going to use the generator.

You can also search for various OEMs online and look at what they make.

That which is stated on the original equipment manufacturer's data sheet for the equipment.

The maximum rating of any generator is equal to maximum rating defined by manufacturer Reason: if you over load the set above the manufacturer's advice then warranty issues may occur
