Any circuit card manufacturing engineers out there?

What is that you wish to talk about?

I use Protel PCB software and some industry people manufacture PCB from me. on FR-4 grade PCB double sided, the estimated cost in India is about INR 1 per sq. cm board area so you can think of getting about 45 sq.cm. PCB done for $1 in quantity 100 numbers and above plus packaging and shipment cost.

PCB design cost may be higher to about $10 per sq.cm. and may also differ on complexity of the PCB and amount of time spent on design.

I think the design engineers can get more money in design work than what they can get if they take up to jobs in India. However, many do not prefer to work in PCB design considering this as either difficult job or perhaps they have no practical skill in the area in the start up condition and only experienced engineers have the related knowledge and experience.
