I found the planetary gearbox site informative. I do safe drinking water development on a volunteer basis and am interested in building smaller trailer mounted cable tool well drilling machines. These would be used in third world application to help provide people with water that could possibly be safer and closer to villages. Is anyone interested in helping with a basic design? I am a good fabricator but lack in some of the basics in gearing and loads.
