what is diameter factor in worm wheel and why it is use the calculation in worm wheel ?

If the diameter of the worm wheel varies, and the pitch of the thread doesn't, then the width of the tooth between the slots must reduce. With rising diameter there must therefore be a point where it is so thin that it is no longer strong enough to transmit the drive.
