Reversal of poles

2012 is nearing. I feel that the earth's poles may get reversed. What are the likely affects? Physics scientists and electrical engineers to reply please

Here's one. You'll need this to control the "affects".

Another stripe of magnetically oriented rocks will be laid down in the Atlantic Ocean over the next 26 million years, or whatever.

Although I'm not a psychologist, I feel you have some trouble(s) in your life, these troubles are making you pessimist!!

One the other hand, how did you get that the earth's poles may get reversed in 2012? Is your feeling based on facts (I don't think so)or on false breaking news or just clairvoyance!!!

The Earth's poles do reverse, but the time scale is in the thousands of years. It's not going to happen in 2012.

The main problem that I see is that Santy will live at the South Pole. This may result in good boys and girls getting lumps of coal and switches, while the bad ones get to be investment bankers and politicians (oops, too late).
