Good answer.

The reverse process is true for many animals.

Nanu - Nanu - bongos!

1) Is it from this planet or an alien 'lifeform - carbon or silicon based'?

2) Is it perhaps microbiological in it's nature, or perhaps a nanotechology experiment that went wildly awry, when a mad scientist woke up on the wrong side of bed one morn?

3) Please explain in further detail - we here are all in awe - are we in any danger? And if so, exactly what kind of danger? - tell us of what you have heard and learned about this so far.

PS - it may be related to the bad spirits that caused 50 whales to recently commit suicide on NZ beach and then leave their bodies. Just a thought - hope it helps.

Loupy

Are you referring to cordyceps? If you are, then you got the sequence wrong; it should be an animal that becomes a plant (although strictly speaking, fungi are not plants, they are a whole separate genus of life) that finally becomes an inert object.

Cordyceps are a family of parasitic fungi that mostly attack insects. The host becomes infected by the fungus and dies, and the dead insect then dries and shrivels up. The best known form of cordyceps is the caterpillar fungus (Cordyceps sinensis) which is actually the dried up remains of a caterpillar that died from a cordyceps infection. It is commonly used in traditional Chinese medicine, and Western medicine is now studying its medical potential.

However, if you're not referring to cordyceps, then you better demand a refund for your aluminum foil hat.

A newlywed coal miner that goes home for lunch?

A carbon-based life form?

A pencil sketch of a bunny rabbit?

A doughnut cooked in Crisco, eaten by a policeman?

I give up.....

"what is that thing that was a plant then becomes a solid and then becomes an animal"

And then after all these metamorphic transformations, finally happily becomes a bongo as referred to by klearzen in post#1. Is it animal, vegetable, mineral, or bongo?

Only it's hair dresser knows for sure. - - Loupy.

Hello, bongos, with all of our good natured kidding aside, might it refer to 'coral', as in coral reef (the most famous, well known one known as rhe 'Great Barrier Reef' off the coast of Oz), in some way or fashion? - please see - http://www.answersingenesis.org/creation/v25/i1/coral.asp

BTW - what was the outcome of that misdirected tanker ship that went aground there about 2 or so months ago? - It seems to have gone off the news's radar screen recently - they were calling for a MAJOR disaster to it's ecosystem when the news of the occurrance was first broken.
