Mixing

09/05/2010 4:49 AM

We've a tank of capacity 100 lits with a pump having capacity 1.5 CMH. We are looking for tank to tank recirculation instead of using agitator. How much should pump recirculate? if our process requirement is 0.5 CMH. If we have considered 4.0 m as pump head.Does this much pressure of pump sufficient to agitate the tank fluid or should we use agitator ?. Can increasing flow that is pump capacity will solve my problem?

Consider using a static mixer in the pipeline downstream of the pump, and getting rid of the tank.

Since tank is small. From cost point of view we are looking for tank to tank circulation
