TOW in Shopfloors

Can anybody explain me what is TOW used in shopfloors?

An in-floor system to pull [tow] carts of materials(s) around the shop or warehouse.

I often use my TOW in shopfloors. It is essential to my method of perambulation/locomotion. In fact, I use more than one TOW. I use 10. Typically, I constrain them within a SHEW allocated for each natural set of 5. I have found this system useful for operating on many surfaces in addition to shop floors, as well.
