Please define "amber".

Watt to kW involves simply dividing by 1000.

I would assume that you mean "ampere" and not "amber". Amber is a color, it's not an electrical term.

What exactly do you mean "new electrical man"? You've just entered college or you've just graduated? 'Coz if you've just graduated, I'd advise you to go back. No kidding.

If you've just entered college, just open your books on "Basic Electricity" and you'll learn.
