mathmusic

musicmath is EXACTLY 1/2,1/4,1/8 etc. everywhere in the cosmos, and so I say and so does my good friend, When your baby is about 6 mos. old, inside his womb ( and this goes for every baby) . place the bottom of your guitar upon her stomach, and tune it. Then play some easy tunes and tones, and harmonics, and octaves. and talk to your baby. Guaranteed your baby will understand (later) what 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, etc. (and so will the mother) and it will trigger the instinctive harmony's between the three of you. Try it, what can you lose? School is better for kids with some stringed music in their lives.

E W, I don't understand your play on words. This is all about "teaching" young kids .

Why a guitar? How about an accordion? Or better yet, bagpipes! The little one can push against mommy's side and help squeeze the bag.

An accordion? Are you nuts? They play accordions in Hell!

Finally, some one with curiosity, and a bit of wit.

My good friend taught me "why a guitar". The tones and harmonics of his Martin just lend the right touch. He is an extra ordinary piano tuner, and guitar teacher. Who has taught me the real mathamatics. The search for prefection is the reason it works.
