<...know more about the R 22-A refrigerant....>

The article in Wikipedia is a good start.

<...a specified compressor...or....existing compressor....>

Ask the compressor manufacturer directly. Details will be found in the Operating Manual.

<...did this refrigerant affecting...electrical control circuit or not....>

Unlikely, though the compressor manufacturer's Technical Helpline is the best place to ask.

Please explain "R 22-A" refrigerant.

R-22 is well known, having been around for several decades. But "R 22-A" gets weird results from a Web search, including references to flammable refrigerants such as R-290 (propane).

The title "Help: R 22-A Refrigerant", might be better punctuated as "Help: R 22, a refrigerant". Language barrier? I think we are talking just plain R-22 here.

Hey SUB-ZERO,

What refrigerant is being compressed by your existing compressor?
