"... capacities of extrusion" of what?

Please, do not tell us steel washers. Anything but washers.

Nobody can give you a specific answer to you question with out more information. All vary with the material and the shape your trying to extrude.

I am sorry, but today I haven't the patience Milo and others have shown you.

Best of luck on your quest for an education.

post script: I am going to the washer thread and give Milo a GA.

Aluminium extrusion ?

Will depend on the size of the billet you can fit in the press.

The die also has a limited lifetime.

Why don't you search for "extruder manufacturers" on the net and pretend that you want to buy one.

You are asking questions that belie your total lack of knowledge on the subjects at hand.

As I have said to others, we cannot infuse you with knowledge. You must put forth some effort to learn the subject before asking us to do your work for you.

It would help if we knew what you were trying to extrude.

Al, wire, plastics We can't read your mind. Try giving us something to work with.

Hi Cutyengineer

I am answering your questions because you seem to in a similar position than my late daughter. Not even slightly technical minded but her boss kept on asking her very technical questions,

She phoned me and searched the internet for whatever I tell her, Result more questions.

if you search for instance for "rolled steel" (images) you may get the following.

That may satisfy Mr Areport and you may have to search for the type of machine then

Now you try searching for "extrusion products" (images) and see what comes up

Feel free to ask if you don't understand the search results.

Cold rolled

And Hot rolled
