DG Set Output Kilowatt

What will be the effect on output kilowatt of dg set on increasing either frequency or voltage

It depends upon the characteristics of the load and how it responds to the change in frequency or voltage. If, for example, a circuit protective device operates as a result of the change, then the generator output will go down.

Whatever happens, the fuel consumption rate will change in response.

If you have a fixed Load:

1- the increase of the voltage will increase the kW being consumed by the same load (until a fault develops if not designed for the voltage increase...).

2- The increase in frequency is dependent on the load type: Inductive, capacitive ==> might reduce the kW because of increase in Impedence (Z) which is proportional to frequency for inductive (L) Or increase in kW for Capacitive (C) which is inverse proportional to frequency. But there will allways be some resistive component which is not affected by the frequency increase.

Therefore, you must analyse the load characteristics and find the resultant type before concluding on the result of increasing the frequency. For the Voltage, increase allways brings increase of kW for the same Load.
