A constant throughput of fresh water tends to keep impurities from concentrating. (Assuming that the incoming water is cleaner than what is already in the boiler.)

Hi gopal gadhavi,

The reason for bleeding the water off continuously enables the feed pump(s) to remain running at all times without the fear of stagnation leading to excessive build-up of heat within the pump. Without this simple control it would require the pump to be stopped during periods of very low demand, an undesirable situation.

As demand rises further you will probably find that additional pumps will be called into service.

regards,

Massey.

Dear Mr.gopal gadhavi,

Leak off line 10% need not necessarily be maintained. It can be less also.

The main idea is to limit the CHURNING EFFECT inside the pump which results in RISE IN TEMPERATURE of the Fluid and Casing. It depends upon the material construction and temp. of the fluid to be handled.
