Weight of a Hollow Mild Steel Sheet Box

How do I calculate the weight of a hollow mild steel sheet (1.6 mm thick) box of lenght 1.79 meters X 0.83 meters X 0.2 meters ?

(Density of mild steel per mm3) * [(1790* 830 * 200) - (1786.8 * 826.8 * 196.8)].

First calculate the area (l x w) of all the sides. You'll end up with square meters. Multiply that by the metal thickness in meters (.0016m). That will give you a small part of a cubic meter. Multiply that by the weight of a cubic meter of steel, which can be found with a Google search.
