Try To Install Any Application On My Windows 7

Hi, All

I've trying to install any application on my windows 7, during the installation this message pop-up " regsrvcs.exe common language runtime debugging application has generated an exception that couldn't be handled. process id=0x140c (5132), Thread id=0x4f0 (1264). click ok to terminate, click cancel to debug.

any help

Hi, All

i also try to install net framework 1.1 on my windows 7 32-bit,

this error pop-up
Error 1310 Error writing to file:
c:\dotnet\Win\Microsoft.Net\Framework\URInstallPath\aspnet_isapi.dll
Verify that you have access to that directory.

any help?

Win7 has a nasty habit of corrupting user accounts. Symptoms of this include installing/upgrading applications like you describe. Another symptom is that your gadgets (on the right side of the screen like weather, clock, etc) either malfunction or stop working altogether.

Last time I checked, about a month or so ago, there was no fix for a corrupt user account. Try creating a new user account and installing your app. If it installs ok, the broken user account is your culprit. If you still have problems, check with the application's distributor/manufacturer.
