  1. Turn off Caps Lock. Readers in this forum are case-sensitive.
  2. They are as cheap as chips. It's not worth the trouble. Buy another one for 60Hz 240VAC and take advantage of the manufacturer's/retailer's warranty.

Very good. However, I can't see what the fuss is all about. With the English illiteracy of a great number of posts here, all caps is, to me, inconsequential.

from 60/240 rectify to DC and invert back to 230/50
