Radio Transmitter

03/14/2011 3:45 PM

Hello

Where can I find a radio transmitter for distances up to 200 meters to activate 10 different relays??

Can I activate these relays also via internet?

How to do?

ebay - from china - have 2 sets myself - works on 12 VDC and transmitter with 2 AA paid $38 for each - not to activate through internet. For that purpose you can look for home automation with separate addresses.

Wireless you mean and with ethernet capability? Try this out. Wifi I/O

Just add up wifi booster Something like this signal Wifi booster

How to do is, read the manuals. Get a technician if you can't handle it, otherwise be open-hearted to gamble the money for the sake of curiosity and adventure.

It's still learning, anyway if its yours, it's fine alright.

I hope this isn't for some kind of terrorist activity, like bomb detonation. Need to be carefull with these kinds of questions and answers.

As you can see is not for a bomb but 10 bombs

Don´t worry I`am sure CIA are already take your advise seriously and send same SPECIALS SECRETS AGENTS to my home.

But as I`m a junior terrorist they will give me a discount.

I was thinghing to aske ...how to build a bomb, but now that they know me I lost my chance to be a senior terrorist.....

Sorry but I thing you are very disturbed.........!!!!!!!

Yes I am disturbed that a lot of questions and answers for terrorist occur on all kinds of message boards maybe even this one who knows I hope not. Every since 911 I myself use a little more caution.

I didn't mean to implement that you were building a bomb, I just wanted to make everyone think twice before blurting out information about radio transmitters to just anyone. Your question about them wasn't very clear on what you wanted them for and yet everyone was starting to throw out answers.

Sorry if this offended you, that wasn't my intension at all, and how does my concern about the safety of my country and fellow man make me disturbed? I just think we need to be more cautious in these days and times with all the terrorist activity going on in this world.

Again I didn't mean to offend you.

Depends what you want to do and how much you can spend. Try a model aeroplane shop. Multi-channel, linear output effect. Normally have to use a wireless Laptop.

You may need some interfacing, or mybe they will have digital outputs. If it's for Industrial use, www.ni.com

How about using Wi-Fi Ethernet for the wireless link, and then Ethernet to digital I/O modules for your control signals. If you use the right I/O modules, you could also monitor the status of the relays for real-time feedback of your control. Of course, you would need at least one computer involved to run the software to conrtrol the I/O modules.
