If you back up regularly you cloud just go back to the last "before cat" back-up and reload that.

There's probably an easy way I don't know about.

you could have your cat sit on your hands to turn them upside down, then hang the computer upside down from the ceiling and type upwards. You'll get great looking Triceps too!

Well, Mark Twain said once that the root of the word 'catastrophe' is 'cat'.

Either your laptop is stuffed (that is the technical term) or it is a graphics setting issue.

Try right clicking on the desktop and choosing graphic properties (or similar depending on which graphics card and software you have). There (generally) is an option in there to change the screen rotation.

Once fixed pay more attention to your cat as it seems to think it needs more and certainly deserves some as it appears to be smart enough to re-program the graphic settings of a computer! Accident, riiight.

Jack, you don't own cats, they own you.

If you ever get to Rome have a look at them! They own a whole block and nobody dares noticing too much or thinking of removing them. Well, one does but it is a bit like the cows in India. Better be licked by a cat any day.

...it wasn't me
Gotta be a video setting... I remember a while back seeing the command to rotate the display by 90 degrees... can't remember the command though.
Have you tried windows help... oh dearie me, I just made myself laugh... we all know that won't help.

Googling 'screen rotation windows' brought this up.
This may be better.

Ha, it should be in "Windows Mobility Cente"r, which is only on laptops... so I can't try it.
Hang on, put the kettle on, I'll come and do it for you...

Del, Bitsy the Hut (nee cat) is not pleased with your interference in her plans.

Thanks Del. The ATI system tray thing did the trick. You wouldn't beleive how hard it is to think when you're looking at an inverted screen.

Interestingly the ATI app is called ATI Catalyst. I sense a comspiracy here.

My brain still huts. I'm going back to bed.

From your control panel look for hot keys that maybe assigned to rotated the screen. Maybe in key board settings you may find what keys been assigned what. But mostly a function of the video card. I know NVIDIA provides such setting. It is in their set up.

Oh when you find these settings I would turn them off. If you plan to continue to provide your laptop as heated bed for your cat.

Try Ctrl Alt and the up arrow. The arrows will switch it 90 Degrees for each.
