I don't suppose anyone here would be gullible enough to fall for it, but just in case:

My name is Miss Michelle Coulibaly 20 years.I am presently an orphan.My late father (Thomas Claudus) was poisoned by his business associates in Lome,Togo.I lost my mother when i was six years old.Before the death of my father, he deposited of a sum of money(3.5 million us dollars) in a bank.I am the sole beneficiary as i am his only child.
I want you help me transfer this money so that you can help me invest this money in a good business like real estate or any other good buiness in your country and i will also continue my education.
I am willing offer you 15% of the total sum for your assistance.

Had that one about 2? years ago in Gmail

Address in Ghana or Nigeria or thereabouts

I don't think she's aged a day, but sad to see she is still currently an orphan.

Back then the money was in a bank in Europe and you had to buy her a ticket and pay bribes, or something, to get her out of the country, so she could sign for the stash.

Or was that another one?

I won't fall for it. In fact, I don't need to. I'm helping an assistant bank manager in Nigeria move some money and as soon as the check I sent him clears, he'll deposit 2 million dollars in my account - THEN I'LL BE RICH!!! WooHoo. And I'll say "so long sucka's; take this job and shove it."

/Yes, I'm kidding.

It's hard to believe people are still trying those scams, but as the old saying goes, a fool and his money are soon parted.

Thanks for the heads up John.

I received something similar in my personal e-mail at home a few months back.

The message stated that I had $850,000.00 coming to me from a deceased relative but I had to pay a $10,000.00 "tariff" first.

My response to the sender was to go ahead and pay the $10,000.00 on my behalf and that I would split the 850K with him/her and we would call it even.

Still waiting for my money, hope I did not get ripped off.

I will be really pi$$ed if I did.
