  • Arrange a water cooling unfailing line into PB-P-206
  • Use High Temp Greasepacking.
  • Recirculate Externally cooled Oil to lubricate Bearing
  • Ask SKF.

I share Roberts (#2) comment. Proposals are possible if the purpose is known - and the conditions in the operating space. For instance: it makes an essential difference whether the bearing would create 90°C during operation or if the shaft and/or the environment is affecting the bearing with a heat flow according t0 90°C.

For sleeve bearings (babbitt) 90°C is not really a problem - if the right measures are taken. For roller bearing type I can't assist with recommendations.

I agree with both of the above posts. I would also look into SKF bearings.

I would also add that you might possibly want to go with a ceramic ball bearing set up as it will take a better heat load on a continous basis

Hi

The first reply was very well said.

But why not give the whole story. What purpose does the bearing serve?

Best

McKay Bearing Inc. make a "high Temperature" ball bearing configuration good to 600 degrees F. I have used them many times in tempering oven applications. They do have an RPM limitation. I hope this aids you in your search.

I bid you peace.

Depending on the load, thermoplastic bearings can handle the temperature and would not require lubrication.

See PEEK, or PTFE. Depending on the application try Greene, Tweed or Lancer Systems L.P.
