LOL, only low volatge/// You should better know where is the point you aim at. Low voltage should be breakers only... Saying switchgear children will laugh at you no matter how high your quality is.

ABB, simple very simple...Yours should be ABC. If I am in your shoe... I will do exactly the same. ABC is the best to start with.

Are you from India... Indian is so crazy. I mean in term of ... exploring. Sorry for a drunk Saturday.

Sorry for a drunk Saturday

i will forgive you because of this.

i now believe that drunks shouldn't be allowed to drive of course, but shouldn't be allowed near computers either.

Never again talk ill of people of different countries. Address your remarks to the individual concerned, never to his country.

You are no shining example of your country either. (i know some brilliant Vietnamese people working in GE in USA. They would be embarrassed about you)

I agree with you.

There are takers, and givers here. You, my friend are a giver. You provide insight without editorial comments about the person requesting help.

You, hien.nguyenquoc are a taker. You ask questions that belie your lack of knowledge about subjects you should already know.

I have great respect for kvsridhar, I have none for you.

And you, Lyn, a guru, but doesn't have a good heart. Always look at the small thing and never see the bigger thing.

I am growing up here in CR4, it is my turn, I will understand that I should give the answer for those who need in some years later. You are so stingy.

You are a guru, but a stingy guru.

Thank you for your assessment of me. You are, of course, entitled to your opinion.

I do not posses the good manners and restraint that kvsridhar does.

However, I never ask other people to do my job for me.

Re: switch gears

Thanks for the kind words lyn .... i should have taken my own advice and not sat down at my pc after my traditional two scotches. Some people are incorrigible, and like you said in another post, should be left to wallow in whatever quagmire they prefer.

hien.nguyenquoc , i think you are trying to learn a lot of engineering here on CR4. This cannot be done by antagonising the experts here, like lyn. Why, you even made msamad angry for nothing !!! That unflappable guru with an astounding 25% GA record NEVER makes a personal comment, and you antagonised him (see LRWT thread here)

Take some advice from an old coot. Be humble. Learn some English. Good luck.

OK, i accept.

"Crazy" is ok when two close friends are speaking to each other. "Crazy" to a stranger? NO ! "Crazy" doesn't mean anything good in most contexts in English.

You better learn more English before you take liberties in this awesome, awful, extraordinary language in which Sheakespeare, Keats, Shelley, Wordsworth waxed eloquent leaving priceless pearls for posterity. And in which, many Indian authors have won the Booker prize and other international awards.

Not sandeepn, i am afraid though

Dear Mr. hien, I resolve today that hereafter I will never answer any of your questions or posts as you have talked ill of my motherland INDIA. I am very proud to be an Indian and we Indians, have given you very good answers here in this forum. You have also appreciated many of those answers and still you have the guts to call us crazy.

Drunk or otherwise, I will never forgive you, for the statement you have made about Indians.

And, my postings are always clear because I don't drink.

I said this the first place and did not excuse. I will have to apologize for what I said. Saying that way is not acceptable. I hope that you all will forgive my mistake. I still want to be here with you.

Look Hien (i hope it is ok to call you this). Are you sure you want to learn ? Then you should be suitably humble. Your remark to msamad i found amazing. Nobody ever insults that guru, and you did it !!!

And you make some rude remarks to young, inexperienced posters. You have not earned that right yet.

i haven't earned that right either, and i am 66 years old ! No matter, i hope i never will !!! insult someone i mean....

i will watch if you really mean what you say here. If you are genuine, i will request lyn, TonyS, EE65 and other experts to help you.

What do you say ?

I have to explain too much. I did not insult anyone including him. I have read through his link and I just wanna confirm if it would be that much. Why you say I insulted him...for what? So one more time I reply,,,I am here to learn by trying to pick up as much as I can... from you. the Gurus. And I don't want to waste my time on this.

As you can see that how I am happy when he came back and I remember he will come back with a link. I appreciate him.

Please sympathize.

Re: switch gears

05/28/2011 7:38 AM

sandeepn, you have asked many questions on MCB, RCCB etc. Are you working for a company which is venturing into making these ?

BTW, "Switchgear" is a collective noun, there is no plural. It is usual to use it as one word. What you have said means to change gears (eg, in a car) which explains TonyS's tongue-in-cheek. Rather a good one if you ask me Tony

i hope you are aware that the RCCB requires a sensitive low-energy-trip unit, not so easily available in India ?

And that you need to make >10000 MCB poles per day to break even (no profit, no loss) ?

Sometimes, you just can't win.

Maybe it's better to just let them wallow in ignorance.

Re: switch gears

Dear Sandeep,

The manufacture of MCB and RCCB is a complex project. If your company looks for some expert to set up this plant, you may find someone, who is likely to charge a lot of money for making the project report.

Giving a name is the prerogative of the owner of the company. It is the easiest part. Designing a product, and manufacturing it, and selling it is a far bigger project. i hope your company's owner/s have thought about it.

Good luck.
