I recommend that you install a fan that can move a lot of air, a big powerful fan would be good. If electricity is available it is a fine energy source to power the fan with (electric motor driving fan is a proven technology). If grid power is not available and the area is only to be occupied while the sun shines you could speciy a big powerful solar powerd fan. If not you may want to use a gasoline or disel engine to operate the big powerful fan.

A big powerful exhaust fan will keep the fume concentration low and you will not have a concern with high concentrations of sulfuric fumes.

A little more application information will probably be needed to provide a specific recommendation.

Plastic.

Plastic.

Plastic and plastic.

Or one might use plastic. It depends.

Here's another suggestion: solve the containment problem before blowing sulphuric acid fumes all over the district, polluting all the atmosphere and killing all the trees. Do turn off Caps Lock first though....

Viton is the only plastic which is unaffected by concentrated sulphuric acid. PVC is good for up to 80% concentration.Check out this site WWW.usplastic.com

How big the fan you need? How much is the acid concentration in fumes? If concentration is small, you can try acid resistant coatings on impeller, casing and ducts.

In an enclosed environment, such as a chemical lab or hazmat locker, pressurize the space. Measure the volume of the space and use a volumetric extraction table for the compound you are trying to disperse.

The exhaust path will have no moving parts. This is most useful for explosive environments, but works equally well where the exhaust component is trying to dissolve everything along the way. Plastic (HDPE, PET-P) is listed as "acceptable" or "moderate" for reliability in a highly acidic environment. NEMA prefers fiberglass reinforced polyester compounds for concentrations nearing 25%.

Scrubbers should be integrated into the exhaust path as well.
