Pipe Wrenches

06/11/2011 8:21 AM

Following on from the thread "A question of serious social and political import", I've finally found a use for my pipe wrenches, I don't want them any more. I've had enough of swinging around locked pipefittings. Over the years I've managed to break 36" Stillsons and rip a 6" vice off a steel bench. It's time they went in to retirement.

Your days of beating it to fit, and painting it to match, seem to be coming to an end.

Very nice!

I been planning to make a coffee table too. I'll post a pic when I'm done.

How about a couple of 36'' shifters to join the stilsons for support?

Phooey! A 3-legged arrangement would enable the device to stand on any surface without rocking!

Wide open for redesign!

But the "legs" are adjustable for just that reason

You know what would compliment this table is chains made out of pipe that you would use these wrenches to assemble. The instruction that come with this kit would read no tools required

Here I go again; I meant to say chairs not chains. If only spell checker could read my mind... I take that back; don't tell Microsoft I said that

Perhaps a use for some of the other wrenches:
