Google "acronym finder", and use the applications Google will list in order to find out.

i am fairly certain that you are in Karnataka, India, maybe in Bangalore.

A company called Mysore Electrical Industries, Bangalore used to make 11kV Ring-main-units, under technical collaboration from J G Statter & Co. of UK. The main tee-off unit in the middle was an oil-immersed, trippable fuse switch which used English Electric HV fuse-links with a striker to trip the fuse switch. The type designation of the Fuse Switch was VL.

This was flanked by two incoming on-load oil-immersed Isolators for either side of the ring main. The type designation of the Isolator was OD. The RMU was called VL2OD obviously.

And before you ask, the type designation of the English Electric Fuse is KEBXO.

Nowadays, the RMUs are made using VCBs

Is this what you wanted ?
