How to calculate Units generated for captive power plant

07/27/2011 2:37 PM

I want to know how to calculate the units generated per 1 scm of gas fuel flow for GAS BASED captive power plant?

Power generated : 13000 Kw

Standard Cubic Meter Hour: 7593

What is the correct formula for calculation.

!3,000 kw / (7593 scm/h) ≈ 1.71 kw/(scm/h); this can be rearranged as 1.71 kwh/scm.

Use the ratio of the calorific values of the two fuel gases.
