The switch changes state after the pre-set time has expired from the moment that the input power is switched off.

Googling AH3 throws up this one (yes, it did throw up )

Looks to me a 'signal-off-delay' rather than a 'power-off-delay'...it may need power to count down after the OFF signal is given.

Of course, a massive capacitor can be used to provide a 'power-off-delay' function even with this, but that has limitations.

That is the reason i prefer pneumatic off-delay timers.
