Homework? Some of the pipe sizes seem odd.

Dear JBK

1. Line size - it depends on the future demand, the length of pipe and the pressure at the terminal. However, I believe that this info is not currently available, then my suggestion is for you to use the same diameter as the main header.

2. Flange rating - for C.S at 16 bara and 65 C, 150# just meet your requirement. However, I propose that you use 300# rating to be on the safe side.

Hope the above helps.

Gas velocity as per the data is around 25 m/s, which is in order for fuel gas. Every thing looks like for future connections, except the last one. You should decide the pipe size & flange ratings for future connections 1,2,3 in the same way as present. Follow the same velocity limit of 25 m/s and calculate the pipe size. Rating shall be same as present because pressure is the same.

Different flow units for future connection 180 MMSCF/d is not understood.
